Efficient and Sustainable Energy Supply in Uganda
Feasibility study, design and implementation for the rehabilitation of the existing hydro-power plant (HPP) Maziba in south-western Uganda and the grid extensions and the upgrading of existing distribution lines as well as the investigation of possible new sites for small hydro power stations ( Nyagak II & III and Olewa) in the West-Nile Region.

Rehabilitation of Tororo-Opuyo-Lira 132-kV Transmission Line
Reviewed previous power studies, proposed the power transmission line route on the basis of the available area maps and reconnaissance survey, prepared a preliminary function design and cost estimates of the transmission line and associated sub-stations expansions, financial and economic analysis of the project and prepared a Project Implementation Plan.

Maguga Dam Wall & Power Station

KAGGA was part of a consortium which undertook the design and supervision of the Maguga dam wall and power station in Swaziland. The consortium included the Swazi group (ZMCK, KAGGA & M&E consultants) and Consult 4 ( Ninhan, Shand, Keev Steyn, VKE Engineers and SRK consultants) from South Africa.
